Animal Care & Use
Texas A&M University-Commerce requires all individuals conducting/participating in research projects (including faculty, staff, postdocs, research assistants and students, etc…) that involves living vertebrae animals to complete training for Animal Care and Use and Responsible Conduct in Research. This requirement is met by the successful completion of the online training module from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) website.
Required Compliance Training before you can submit a protocol.
Instructions for Animal Care Protocols
The Animal Care & Use Committee meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm. Protocols should be submitted at least one week in advance for review. Please submit your protocols electronically to Mona Gilley at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may fax your signed cover page as part of your electronic protocol or fax (903-468-8784) or hand deliver to Mona Gilley, Office of Sponsored Programs, BA 132.
